A Message from our Executive Director Jill Meyerhoff:
Serving as the Executive Director of FISH of Greater New Haven is a privilege and a challenge. FISH enjoys a 50 year history of service because of many supporters, volunteers, and community partners who help us carry out our mission every day. It is a great responsibility to oversee an organization that has such a well regarded legacy of good work and such a critical mission to fulfill. We are extremely proud of the remarkable work that we do. Striving continually to provide the most densely nutritious and minimally processed food available, including fresh produce in every delivery: these are the ways FISH demonstrates respect to our clients, who are truly the inspiration for the tireless work we do. There are many strands to the FISH tapestry including partner agencies and dedicated volunteers who pack our grocery bags and make deliveries to our clients with a smile and a kind word every day.
As we look to a future with support from the community and ever the increasing demands for our service, FISH will continue to wisely manage its financial resources and leverage each donation of support to its maximum capacity.
