We got so many phone calls asking if we would be open. Would we be bringing a Turkey and make people’s Thanksgiving a little brighter as in past years?
The answer was a resounding yes and with the help of so many volunteers and so many “Friends of FISH” donating time, money, a refrigerated truck, and so much more we made it happen for the biggest Turkey drop in our 50 years!
A huge thank you to:
Chuck and Eddies Auto Parts, brought us 50 Turkeys.
Bozzuto’s Community Foundation lent us a refrigerator truck .
Trader Joe’s who gave us water and snacks for our volunteers.
Augliera Trucking who picked up Turkeys for us from the Yale Dining Service and Connecticut Foodbank.
FISH Board of Directors
FACE and Billy Bromage who packed up all the bags of fixings to make that Turkey a complete feast.
CMHC Foundation and Staff.
And of course a huge thank you to all of the drivers and volunteers who understood the need for social distancing and our efforts to keep everyone safe in this trying time.
You all made it happen and we couldn’t be prouder.
